Gains under the curve

1400rpm: Increased turbo spool brings power in much earlier than stock
2200rpm: Maximum safe boost pressure of the turbo achieved, peak torque!
3000rpm: Holding peak torque and boost pressure, 85nm gain!
3600rpm: Still holding huge 85nm torque gain nice and flat!
4200rpm: Torque/HP Crossover - Turbo is too small to hold peak boost from here.
4750rpm: Maximum safe exhaust (cat) temperatures reached, horsepower flatlines
5000rpm: 230hp Peak horsepower held towards redline within safe EGT limits.
6000rpm: Still holding peak horsepower nice and flat to redline again within safe limits!

About our i20 N Custom Tuning​
After countless hours of work on the Dyno and road testing we're now happy to announce the release of our custom tunes available for the i20 1.6 T-GDI!
​
With stock vehicles our 'Stage 1' tunes are seeing increases up to approx. 230hp/380nm while keeping factory safeties such as maximum exhaust gas temperature in place, this really transforms the drive of the car as shown on the graph above.
Our tunes will also include full control of the exhaust valves per drive mode, custom exhaust burbles or pops & bangs as well as being able to tailor our tunes to each mode so the vehicle still retains excellent driveability!​

We're also happy to announce that we can fully support Stage 2 modifications including Decat Downpipe, OPF Delete and the usual Turbo Elbow / Induction Kit / Intercooler modifications that help these engines breath that much better.
Full 'Stage 2' vehicles we are seeing increases up to approx. 245-250hp and capping the torque at 400nm for clutch and engine safety.

The turbo really is the limiting factor on this platform simply due to its size, peak boost is achieved early and by 4200rpm it begins to drop off as it just cannot flow enough air. We are hopeful to offer turbo upgrade packages in the future so do get in touch!
